Orangethroat darters are one of the easier river darters to keep and breed. Put a shallow dish of fine gravel in a bare aquarium and you should be able to see them spawning. Gently rinse out the eggs from the gravel. They take live and frozen foods, and prefer cooler temperatures (60-75 degrees F).
