A drop of feed a day, a little stir with the eye dropper, and they will be ready to give your Office Fish a taste treat your fish will look forward to every week! After feeding a portion of your culture, replace the water with bottled or dechlorinated water, and feed the Daphnia magna again. The daphnia will keep replenshing themselves until the next feeding (recommended once a week or as the culture grows! For an excellent feeding, let the culture grow for a month!)

But if you want some pizzaz on your desktop, most containers will do... Ever wondered what to do with that fluted glass thingamabob with the wooden stand? Well, here's the answer :)!!!!!

Easy to follow instructions:

• Pour the daphnia slowly into a clean jar of 16 ounces or more.
• Add dechlorinated water or bottled water until the jar is within an inch or two of the top. If you plan to use a lid, leave two inches between water and top.
• Place lid or cover on jar if you want, but uncover during feeding and let it breath for an hour before replacing the top. Open containers are better, but if you're afraid of an 'accidental spill', then a plastic container with a top will work well.
• Daily - **UPDATED** Feed 2-4 drops of Daphnia feed mixture daily (included) using the eye dropper (included) and stir the culture several times with the eye dropper so the feed disperses in the water.
  As your OFFICE DAPHNIA population G R O W S, then increase the amount of drops per day up to 8 drops = (If more than that is needed to keep your culture growing, then it is time to share your culture with another office desk - Think of the possibilities!).
• Wait one hour after feeding your OFFICE DAPHNIA if you plan to feed them to your Aquarium Fish, pour 1/2 contents of your OFFICE DAPHNIA culture directly into your aquarium, and the fish will gobble the Daphnia magna up! Be sure you have enough room in your aquarium for the extra water :)
• Replenish the water in your culture jar using dechlorinated water or bottle water, and feed them 1 drop of Daphnia feed, dispersing the feed by stirring a few times with the eye dropper.
• Feed the Aquarium Fish only once a week, or once a month. Daphnia growth will be evident, and you will get a feel for how often you can treat your fish. Waiting 2 weeks before feeding the first time to your fish is recommended. Also, try to keep an even population in the jar compared to the amount you feed to your fish. Then your culture will last a long time, and stimulate all kinds of Office talk :)
• Use the culture container your daphnia are mailed in for the OFFICE DAPHNIA FEED. Pour the contents of the OFFICE DAPHNIA FEED into the bottle, fill to water line, cap it, and shake it until it turns a deep green. Shake before each use, and keep refrigerated. OFFICE DAPHNIA FEED will stay fresh for many weeks in the fridge. Be sure to mark the container "OFFICE DAPHNIA FEED" so someone doesn't accidentally drink it.
